Alike is able to support any combination of individual XenServers, and those within one or more resource pools.

Note that the Free edition of Alike can only connect to a single Host, meaning that it can only back up Guests running on the Pool Master.

Configuring Alike for a resource pool is simple:
Add all of the desired hosts in your pool (or pools) to the Alike UI, under Settings->Virtualization Settings->XenServers.

Once defined, each host will appear in the host tree list when selecting the VMs for backup, with its guests listed beneath it.  Only running guests, and suspended/powered off systems who have the host set as their "home server" will be listed under a particular host.  Guests that are not associated with a particular host server will not be listed.

If you schedule a backup job including a guest on a particular host in a resource pool, and that guest migrates to another licensed host, it will be backed up normally for subsequent jobs.  Guests that are migrated to an unlicensed host will be skipped for all jobs until they are moved back onto a licensed XenServer.
